The College does not assume responsibility for loss of or damage to the personal property of a student whether the College is in session or on holiday. Posters and hangings cannot cover windows. Posters and wall hangings of any size are permitted one foot from the ceiling and must be anchored at all four corners with an approved adhesive (refer to “What to Bring” section for more information). All rooms must have a fire exit chart provided by the College on the back of the room entrance door. This includes dry erase boards, decorations, and pictures. Room entrance doors are to remain free of all unauthorized materials. Nothing should impede the complete opening of an entrance door – there should be full clearance when entering or exiting a room.Īttachments are NOT permitted on the ceiling, beds, or sprinkler heads (including tape, string, stickers, privacy sheets, or curtains). There must be 4.5 feet of entry space into each room one should not have to turn sideways or squeeze to enter a room. ![]() Items left in the hallway are subject to confiscation and possible disciplinary action.įurniture cannot be arranged in a manner which fully or partially blocks physical access into a room. Please be mindful of this on move-in day.
